What is involved in a homeopathic consultation?
The first step is to review the many and characteristic details surrounding the development and current state of your chief complaint—from head to foot. I'll ask you questions regarding your physical, mental and emotional state, your life circumstances and presenting physical/emotional illness. Patients generally leave such a consultation with a feeling of having been understood to their very core.
After this consultation and analysis, if appropriate, I will give you a single homeopathic remedy. Remedies are non-toxic, in minute doses and derived from animal, plant and mineral sources (the FDA regulates homeopathic remedies and pharmacies).
With this initial consultation and proper selection and administration of your homeopathic remedy we set into play the catalyst to your self-healing allowing you to function at your best and move you toward greater overall health and well-being.
Next is a series of follow-up sessions to assess how you are responding to the remedy and to track the healing of your chief complaint as well as your overall state. My goal is not only to address your chief presenting complaints but to bring about a quantum shift in your entire being towards health and freedom. We ask for no more and are content with no less.
This thorough understanding of the totality, the very essence of your illness along with the administration of the correct remedy with detailed follow-ups, is the focus of treatment. Homeopathy does not focus upon any particular diet regimen, ongoing supplementation with vitamins, minerals or herbs, nor any hands-on therapy. Inwardly restored health from the root sources is the objective. A lifestyle involving choices for a balanced diet of pure, natural and whole foods, plus a regimen of physical activities to support health will naturally follow.
“The long-term benefit of homeopathy to the patient is that it not only alleviates the presenting symptoms but it re-establishes internal order at the deepest levels and thereby provides a lasting cure.”
